Fire pump testing and maintenance are critical to ensuring the reliable function of fire protection systems of your building. Metro Fire+Security offers regular weekly, monthly and annual testing that will identify any issues that may negatively impact your fire pumps performance.

Our trained and certified personnel perform fire pump testing, maintenance and record keeping compliant with local codes and standards as required by Authorities Having Jurisdiction and NFPA 20 / NFPA 25.

Should your fire pump protection system require inspection, repair, installation or maintenance, Metro Fire+Security offers a wide range of services. We also offer 24 hour fire pump monitoring and 24 hour emergency service should your fire protection system require immediate service.

Temporary Fire Pumps

Metro Fire+Security has five (5) Diesel driven fire pumps that can be rented and installed in about a day or night, depending on the water supply and where the hook up is to the building. Pumps are mounted on Trailers and/or skids and can be placed as close as possible to the building or selected area.

The following is the list of pumps and their ratings

1. Diesel driven Cummings 5.9 with a 1500 gpm Aurura pump rated at 100 psi
2. Diesel driven Cummings 5.9 with a 1500 gpm ITT AC Chalmers pump rated at 120 psi
3. Diesel driven Cat engine with a 1500 gpm Patterson pump rated at 110 psi
4. Diesel driven Cat engine with a Godwin pump HL 130 variable ratings lower gpm with High psi
5. Diesel driven cat engine with a Godwin pump HL 200 variable ratings higher gpm with low psi

These rental pumps are fully automatic and are Monitored through our central station. These pumps can be delivered and installed when approved. We even offer weekly pump runs to keep up on the required runs.
